Why Costa Blanca?

Costa Blanca is one of the most popular places on the Spanish coast and in Spain in general. It reaches from Torrevieja in the South to Denia at the Northern end of the Costa Brava. Other popular destinations are Calpe, Benidorm, Javea, Moraira, Guardamar, Altea, Santa Pola, Benissa and Villajoyosa.

The centre of the Costa Blanca is the city Alicante with the Cathedral, the Monastery of Santa Faz and the Archaeological Museum. The Alicante Airport is connected to all parts of Europe through a number of charter and budget airlines. Apart from holiday Spain is the perfect destination for buying property. This is especially true for Costa Blanca property. The sun is shining year round; the sandy beaches in this region are probably the most beautiful in Spain and finally lots of sparkling towns are worth a visit.

The Costa Blanca is considered as one of the healthiest places in the world to live and is certainly one of the most popular amongst Brits.

We specialize in Southern Costa Blanca.

Once south of Villajoyosa there is a succession of beach resorts with high rise apartment blocks and hotels although nothing like as big as Benidorm. First there is El Campello, then San Juan and then we hit Alicante, the gateway to the Costa Blanca. Alicante airport is where most people arrive into the Costa Blanca. Strangely because it is a lovely city, has a great marina and beaches - most people immediately exit the airport either south towards Torrevieja or north towards Benidorm. South of Alicante are a number of coastal beach resorts. Firstly Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar del Segura and then Torremlamata. Inland towns of note are Elche (or Elx) famous for its many palm trees, Orihuela, Ontinyent, Crevillente and Ciudad Quesada. Back to the coast and we arrive at Torrevieja with its good beaches.

The amount of building in this area has been immense with sprawling developments everywhere. There are quite a number of golf courses in this area with Villamartin and Rojales both just off the coast having three golf courses within easy reach. South of Torrevieja are more beach resorts - Residencia Los Altos, Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Pilar de la Horadada, San Pedro del Pinatar and finally La Manga. Visitors to the southern Coast Blanca will find it less scenic than the Northern Costa Blanca but then there are many tourist activities and both Alicante airport and also Murcia airport (known as San Javier airport) are close by.

Some popular locations;

Santa Pola

This makes it quite enjoyable to take a walk around town or on the promenade and to enjoy water sports.

La Marina is located on the Costa Blanca South between Santa Pola and Guardamar del Segura.

Alicante airport is only 30 minutes drive away.

La Marina is a very small town which comes alive during the summer months when people fill the town to enjoy the small but busy beach tourist resort.

Road access to La Marina is very good. The AP-7 autoroute (motorway) comes down from Alicante airport and goes south to Murcia San Javier airport.

Also the N-332 goes directly past the outskirts of the urbanisation of La Marina and this also goes from Alicante airport in the north all the way down to Murcia San Javier airport to the south.
